We built our forever home with GT Custom Homes a little over two years ago. What we liked about GT is that they were truly custom home builders, not those that let you modify an existing floor plan. I came with a hand drawn floor plan, and GT handled the architectural drawings for us. We spent a lot of effort in designing our home down to every last detail, and Tom and Gerry executed it perfectly. The quality of the materials provided in our base contract, exceeded many of the other local builders, and GT was hands down the best value for the money. From our experience, they also do a much better job than others at providing cost allowances for your cabinets, flooring, etc. We were pleasantly surprised with the total we spent, when complete. Tom and Gerry have also selected some of the best subcontractors in the business. They provided us with so many selections and ideas. All of them were a pleasure to work with and we continue to use them going forward, and recommending them to friends/family. You will not be disappointed in your GT Home the year you move in, 10 years later, or 40 years from now. They are built not only to last, but to continue to look beautiful decades from now. No regrets on choosing them as our builder, and that sentiment is echoed throughout our entire neighborhood.

We love our new GT home on Townsend in the Timberlakes subdivision. This is our third year in it and we are enjoying it more each day. Tom and Gerry built us our last home, which we enjoyed for 30 years. This build went ever better than the first. Tom, Gerry, Doris and John, along with Jake on the follow up after moving in, all made the planning and execution seamless. GT proved to be as trustworthy and reliable as ever and their workmanship was outstanding. We just wanted to let you know how absolutely delighted we are with the beautiful home that you designed and constructed for us on Knottingwood in Timberlakes! As you may, or may not know, when we decided to leave our lovely 2-story Colonial, also, constructed by GT, we toured the full gamut of builders in WNY. Although we saw some homes that were “acceptable”, nothing seemed to meet our expectations in terms of quality and attention to detail. Also, like many other potential customers, we spoke with owners within specific developments and no matter how steep the price tag, there seemed to be significant issues in regard to materials, craftsmanship and lack of the General Contractor’s attention once the contracts were signed. After 30 years of living in a home that never gave us anything but good solid quality, paired with the type of timeless “curb appeal” that still had folks commenting, it just seemed logical to come back to the “GT Family”. From our first meeting until our final “walk-through”, you made us feel like we and our new home were of the utmost importance and nothing less than the “best” was acceptable. Your immediate staff, Doris and John, exhibited nothing but a high level of professionalism, while retaining an easy, day to day level of communication and eagerness to assist in answering questions as they arose. Your subcontractors were absolutely the best at what each of them brought to the construction of our home. They were always accessible to answer any of our questions and to give some great advice when we needed it. Nice to know that even though our “build” is now a “home”, we can still rely on the relationships we built with them. You know that you have chosen the right company when the owners consistently demonstrate a high level of commitment to their craft and the customer is always the first priority in their business model. It is truly rare in today’s world to find folks who are not only dedicated, but this passionate about the customer’s satisfaction and the finished product. Everyone who sees our home is so impressed with the fact that every home in Timberlakes carries its own unique signature.
